Solid TV at a good pricepoint
I'll keep it short. This is a great TV with amazing picture (bright, sharp, clear). The assembly is very easy, I would use a bed or a couch since you need to put the TV down on one of its sides. The only thing I could complain about with the TV is that the built in speakers can be a little weak depending on what content you're playing on the TV. Most of the time they're perfectly adequate. Its only when you're looking for that home theater experience that you may want to crank up the volume or look into connecting the TV with some external speakers. Oh and yeah its a smart TV so you don't even need cable, AppleTV, Firestick, although I already had an Apple TV so I cannot speak too much as to the Smart TV capabilities. Overall, great buy, I'm very happy with it.

After tinkering with the settings over a couple of days got the picture to look like I wanted it to. The only negative I have so far is that I am using this on a table and the speakers are on the bottom of unit, pointing down, so the sound wasn't as great as I would have liked it. I purchased some curved plastic pieces (had to cut to fit) to help redirect the sound to the front of the unit. Overall I am delighted with my purchase.
Picture Perfect
I bought the 40 inch on a Good Friday special and just set it up New Year's Eve.
I just needed a simple but attractive TV with a good name attached to it that offers features like HD 1080p, good sound, excellent picture and a socket to plug my dvd/vhs combo unit into and this television delivers. I don't care about the Smart TV functions so that's just an extra I don't intend to use. Just something I can watch, enjoying the picture, sound and attractiveness of the television's appearance.
Let's talk numbers:

Not fond of a shinny screen the screen is a combination of matte shinny more on the matte side which is perfect.
It's the perfect size for the TV cabinet I chose and the space I have it in in my room, not small and not too big. I am very happy with this purchase and am glad that I bought it when I did because the price has since gone up.
The picture looks better today than it did yesterday, maybe because now that it's out of the box and I am using it, it's settling into it's true colours.
A real smart TV.
I like Sonys Snart TV set up. Bought a different brand and in order to get smart programs from wifi you had to use a phone to get programs. Sony is simple and easy. Smart TV built right in.

So far so good. The set up was easy (skipped the auto set up because I have an HDMI cable box and just selected the input). The picture quality is great. It has more screen space than my old sony bravia. The sound is definitely different. It's about as loud on 50 as my old tv was on 30, which is okay because it's in a bedroom. The sound quality is good. It does sound like it is coming from the tv and not bouncing off the wall behind it like some very thin tvs. Overall I like it. Also it has the turn on timer function which I love because I use my tv as an alarm clock.
Wonderful color
thank you for this TV.I wanted this Sony TV to be a Bravia TV.When I order it ,it did not say that it was a Bravia TV.So I got my TV Wed and the Box said that it is a Bravia TV.The Color is Wonderful and it was easy to install.thank you again.
If you need a 32" t.v. for a small room, this is ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. Beats our old Samsung by 100%. (It lasted 4 years - what?)
Replaced a 4 year old Samsung 32" that completely died after using maybe 10? hours/week in our bedroom wall unit. There is absolutely no comparison to the quality of this TV to the Samsung 32" that died way too much prematurely! Absolutely gorgeous resolution, took longer to dust & vacuum the spot for it than it did to install it - no kidding, about 5 minutes max, and then another 15 minutes letting the Sony remote synch with our Comcast remote, with absolutely zero effort. No need to plug in model numbers, just follow the screen and it was truly simple, even if you are a novice. I understand that Sony may be fazing out this size, so if you are looking for a 32" "extra room" t.v., I recommend ordering it ASAP before they are unavailable. It was not a prime item, so I paid $22 for shipping. Well worth every cent. It was about $80 more than the same size Samsung, but the quality is so awesome that it now is obvious we made the right decision to go with the best of the best. Hope it helps. BTW, I
researched for hours all 32" models, and actually sent back the Scepture. Never worked at all, other than the power. Wasted over an hour with Comcast to troubleshoot, ended up sending it back. You truly get what you pay for! I understand Sony is fazing this size out very soon, so go for it. The company told me they are going to just start with 40" models, so I'm letting you know this. LOVE IT.
Wonderful Television
I have not purchased a TV in a long time and I am thrilled with this one. They have really made improvements since I last bought one. I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering replacing their old television.

Beautiful picture from every angle! You can buy something else for half the cost but it won’t be near as nice as this. It’s 1080 HD with a 32” screen. What more do you need? Also, I like the option for disabling WiFi when I’m not using it. The newer models don’t have that feature.

Got this for my a second TV for my hubby for Christmas . He's very happy with it .THE ONE COMPLAINT I HAVE IS IT WAS LEFT ON MY DECK !!!! I BELIEVE SOMETHING AS EXPENSIVE SHOULD HAVE TO BE SIGNED FOR ! MY HUSBAND WAS HOME AND NO ONE RANG DOORBELL !! WASN'T HAPPY WITH THAT !!!
